Decent Tabs?

I'm looking to find something...anything!! Books, online stuff, whatever for bands like old man's child, at the gates, etc......most of the tabs i find online i usually have to find 2 or 3 different versions often to get the complete song.......never mind an accurate version......

I doubt you will find an 100% accurate version except the band
will tab them out which I doubt very very much...

Try to take down some tabs and go by them and when something doesn`t
sound like it tab it by ear (improvise!!)

depends how you mean.
you can sometimes get decent tabs or at least a start, enough to learn a song. it's true that a lot of the tabs online are worthless. but I keep going back and I generally find what I need to learn new cover songs each month.

I *think* Deneb was referring to the new legal crap that's going on, not the quality of the tabs.

It's tough finding quality tabs, yes there are alot of crap ones or you have to piece together 3 different versions and then figure out stuff with your own ears.

It's a shame that there arent any tab books for, Opeth, Strapping Young Lad, Nevermore etc. I guess there not popular enough to get their own books

I'm really surprised theres no TOOL books but maybe the band doesnt wanna let anyone make tab books of their albums.

Hell they make books for crap like Limp Biscuit and Simple Plan. Why cant we have some books for "real" bands that play challenging material which may not be to easy to figure out on our own?

try www.ultimate-guitar.com. they have some decent tabs. but for black metal songs, its hard to find good tabs. Plus its hard to decipher them yourself because of the crappy production.

old man's child used to rock! I loved their pagan prosperity, was it? After that, I think they went downhill and I actually hate them now.

Yeah, all of this legal shit. I really haven't followed up on it since. I think it was MXTabs.net I used, that was pretty decent, but they nuked up, and I quit looking online.

I should BM those sites you guys mentioned, and maybe get a mass dler, and just go nuts on them.

MetalTabs.com is the best I've found so far.....usually only need 2 versions instead of 3.........Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion is Galder's (OMC's)best I think (the one after the Pagan Prosperity), 3 words, "Gods of Impiety" .......

^ yeah I have that too. I think I like that better than pagan's... its been a while since I listened to either. got to put OMC on my ipod.

Just downloaded Ihsahn's (emperor's lead vocalist/guitarist) album. What a piece of garbage! very disappointed.

+1 for 911tabs.com, basically it cross references all the tab sites, and brings you just about everything. Power tab and Guitar pro too. Sweet.
