My trademark is hating the crowd and all the idiot remarks they have when they are 3 sheets to the wind.

I incorporate Beatles songs into many of my guitar solo's without the crowd ever picking up on it.

I guess you can't call that a trademark if nobody knows about it.

How about this... I would be considered a whammy king. I use my wang bar constantly for vibrato, bends, swells, pull ups, harmonics.. everything.
I also use a salt shaker as a slide and drink tequila while doing it.

no idea but it has to be melodic, classically inspired stuff. When I improvise a solo I use a lot of scales, apreggios and string skiping, DeMiola type muting etc...nothin new or inovative

Great thread! For me, its Tapping..>WAY too much! I tap whenever
i can cheat as i have no alternate picking technique. Well if alternate
picking is at about 78 on a Metronome, then im a picking monster!
If i just could remember every song i once knew perfectly, i would

My trademark is my picking. A bit like Iced Earth mixed with Stratovarius (rhythms). Very short right-hand movement = fast picking.

My trademark is making sure I give at least one Pearl Necklace to a deserving little pretty after every show. I love how they look up at me from on their knees with those doe-eyes tearing slightly from all that 'hard work'.....it's very satisfying to me :^)

It's the least I can do for them.

I guess mine would be the use of Vai-ish slides and horizontal style legato playing, coupled with the alternate style picking runs of Paul Gilbert.

I've been playing 2 years now, and most people say I have a 70's going into 80s style, mostly because I constantly play Cirith Ungol, Mercyful Fate, Manilla Road etc. I am really hoping to start a band with this sound! because god I hate Nu-Metal!
