  • scale charts. Where can I find 'em on the internet?

    I love scale-charts. This is a good website that shows a big-size scale chart in whatever key you like.

    but it does not show the names of the notes just the intervals. Are there other websites like this that display big charts I can print out? I dont want to buy a book or charts from stores cause I use only a few and dont want more junk in my house.

    This site has a scale-maker but its too small a display and cant print them out anyway.

    thanks!

    If you have the intervals it isn't too hard to figure out what the notes are. You start with the root note and go from there. Using the C major scale the intervals would be:

    C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B C

    I (root) = C
    II = D
    III = E
    IV= F
    V = G
    VI = A
    VII = B
    I (octave) = C

    Clear as mud right?

      yeah... but I still wish I could see the notes right-away and not go "um...lets see which note am I on now?" I'm too lazy to memorize the flats/sharps.
