Is that the one (I think it had a bluish cover) that was in stores a while ago? Vai's "For the love of god" was transcribed I believe.
I have that issue but haven't had the time to really look at it yet. Not sure I would be willing to part with it though.
I used to get TG and some other magazines but to be honest they only go so far. They constantly repeat the same songs and techniques. Also they seem to interview the same players alot too. I got bored of them but I have a big stack at home that I rummage through every few months and I'll find something interesting.
At least TG is not as bad as the American mags. They are just a book of ads with a few tabs in the middle.
I had a ton of Guitar Techniques before a certain schmo threw them away (there's a thread on that somewhere), I found that to be the best guitar tuition magazine, they really try to teach you some theory there too. Seems a lot more serious than a lot of the other mags, like demeyes said; book of mags with a few tabs in the middle.
"This ain't no Arsenio Hall show, destroy something!"

I'd have to agree. Its the best magazine for serious players. They have a good all round mag that has something cool for everyone in it, not just whats hot at the moment. It's proably the only one I'd consider buying on any regular basis.
Tell you what though, I might be willing to trade it.
There are a few cd's I've been trying to get my hands on but haven't been able to find them anywhere around here. Since I don't have a credit card and live in Finland it is troublesome and expensive to go to the bank and get cheques and order from the US.
The cd's I've been looking for are Ratt's "Out of the cellar" and the two first "Autograph" records (I love 80's hair metal). I'd be willing to part with the mag for two of those.
