I've not being active for a while so to compensate for that here's somthing to add on to Pete's sweeping lessons.
This is a three string sweeping excise base on the Am scale. Pratice them both accending and desending.
In order to play them clean, you have to mute each note with the left hand immediately after picking. Use a metronome to made sure every note sound even.
Try Ex.2 only when you are comfortable with the motion and able to play Ex.1 clean and on time.
