What can you just NOT play?

I think we all have those one or two "pain in the ass" things that we just can't seem to get around and play properly. Let's all be honest and list them for the world to see!

1. The opening to the Mr. Crowley solo (I can't get the phrasing right).
2. Eugene's Trick Bag from Crossroads.
3. Pedal tones.

probably the start to the solo of Blackened, but more than anything it's because i'm too lazy to actually bother memorising it and practicing it, i find that if i can't do something reasonably well first off i'm less inclined to sit there for a while practicing the same thing over and over.

I use to not be able to sweep pick at all. I thought I would never be able to do it. After endless hours of practice I pulled through.

Right now their is this one run on Children of Bodom's 'Wrath Within' solo I can't do. I have to bounce my fingers back and fourth along 3 different strings as i accend the fretboard. I just can't do it. I've practiced it for a couple months now and I don't seem to be getting any better. [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] I'm not going to stop trying though [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Yay! someone else who can't play skuttlebuttin. Whenever i annoy my teacher he makes me attempt to play that.

hehe buckethead, i remember when i started out, kept on practicing that solo for hours..its an awesome solo...

The part of tender surrender where Vai does those continous sweeps up the neck pisses the **** out of me because i was never really inclined to learn to sweep before, i've picked it up but i cant quite do it as fast as vai [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Mushuggah's "Future Breed Machine". That is a pretty hard song, rhythm and lead. I practice it every day now.
