When you bend a string, your fingers or the actual string move the string next to it out of the way. How do you stop that adjacent string from ringing on when you release? I just seem to sound it really softly on the release.

index finger, and/or my right thumb or middle finger. Sometimes you do let it ring by accident though; if it happens and doesn't soud bad, do it again and act
