Instructor in NY?

Can anyone recommend a good guitar instructor in Northern NJ or NYC. I would really prefer someone who is proficient in hard rock/metal but at this point I will take almost anyone that is competent.

www.robbalducci.com - he's out on LI but he is a great guy, a very proficient player and has some very nice guitars too.

Tell him that Kirk Slossar sent ya. He'll probably give you a confused look but eventually he'll remember who I am.
