Death -Spiritual Healing intro

Do you guys do the tapping intro all on one string, or do you move down a string into the second position? I am having much better luck just dropping down one string than moving my whole position up four frets. What do you guys think?

the way i play it, is start with your index figer of your left hand on the 5th fret of the 5th string, progress to the 4th fret, 4th string, 4th fret, 5th string, 3rd fret 4th string. i'm obviously leaving out a lot of notes, but i think the pattern is the same for each position. hope this helps!
