pinches on an upstroke are much harder to do.. for me at least. it's kinda awkward to do a pinch with your right hand's 1st finger.

Petrucci and Wylde make there harmonics sound even louder that the chords. What can I do to be like that? What am I doing wrong?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">alright man bite into that note hard and give her a real good wooble[bends or what ever] pick the harmonic you want and remember where it is inbetween your pickups and the bottom/start of your neck [ 24 fret or 22 fret area depending on your guitar] useing a duncan distortion or a emg 81 or the new hz line really helps or any hot pickup . but really bite into it and bend it should work , also change your strings regularly cause harmonics hate old strings lol and lose there volume lol //Steve

What kind of gear are you using? How's your action on the guitar? Are you getting fret buzz? ZW also uses active pickups which I think play a part in that. I haven't played an axe with passives in a while, but last time I did the harmonics weren't quite as nasty as they are with my active EMG's.

One more thing - find the spot on a lower string like the G or D and then find the easiest spot on one of those strings where you can perform the technique the best and loudest currently. Practice there first. Then move up and down those strings and onto other strings as you get better at it.
Also note different pickups get better harmonics.
