  • Master of puppets solo

I'd just like to know what technique you guys use for the (fast, second) MOP solo in the beginning with the 17p12 and 12h13p12 etc. Just that part. Been giving me trouble for a while and i think it's about time i found out how to play it right ^_^ Peace,

        for the

        -17p12--------------------------
        -------121312-------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------

use fingers 1 and 4 for the pull off and use the first and second fingers for the 12ph13p12.

        then for the

        -15p12--------------------------
        -------121312-------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------
        --------------------------------
use fingers 3 and 1 for the 15p12.

Try not take it more complicated than it needs to go. It's really one of their easiest solos. Feel your instrument, don't make it all notes. Your ear will do more than reading notes will ever do for you.
