I just thought of something pertaining to using the same finger. I could be lazy and "barre" the 17th fret on the B and E strings, sort of. Execute the B string bend, then flatten my ring finger so that I barre the 17th fret on the E string and then pick that note. Hmm, I'll have to try that and see if it's comfortable enough to adapt to. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

That's what Toe was saying, but then you have to pretty much turn your hand sideways to play like that. If you're the "straight-up-and-down" type, you're gonna catch hell trying to hold the bend and grab the note.
Set one guitar up for a set of strings one gage higher than all your other guitars, and practice bends and such on that one, then go back and really work them on the lighter strings.

But yeah for licks like that I usually just hit the E with my pinky.
