I've seen the tab, and I have to say, I didn't notice if it was "2 guitars in one", but I don't find it difficult to play the tabs. As long as you can do the inverted chords, you're golden.

Its a fun tune to play, I like it alot.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Not to long after I started playing guitar i wanted to learn how to play the song...but it was way to damned hard. Now that I can play (not perfectly) most of the song minus the solos, it is a very fun song to play...and a good workout.

Tornado of Souls I would definitely check out

Another treat for those who never tried Hangar 18 but can play Call of Cthulu - same chords!

And probably the easiest Megadeth song ever: Sweating Bullets.

Yeah, but Hanger is in an entirely separate universe from call. And this coming from a die-hard, old school, can play just about anything written before '91 Metallica fan.

+1 RiP is THE best deth album imo, love playing Tornado. Intro to Lucretia for me is a bitch, still can`t play it neatly after years of trying lol but great great tune.

I love this album. The solos on it are classic; especially the hanger 18 solos.

I think She wolf is easier than Sweating Bullets. Especially the solo.

The solo from Tornado of Sould always leaves me speechless
Gear: Charvel Model 3, Marshall Reverb 30, Fender Squier Telecaster, Digitech GNX-1, GHS Boomers and a whole lot of Dunlop picks.... Oh, and a Hohner Harmonica - key of A

I love everything about RIP. Every once in a while I'll say "Right, gonna learn Holy Wars today/this week/this year". I guess it's a work in progress.

Holy Wars isn't hard to play, just takes some practice.

Back when this thread was started.
I downloaded all of Megadeth's stuff in a single shot.
Exposing and providing me to a mess of good tunes, of which, Holy Wars from Rust In Peace was one of several finer tunes that stood out to me.
The farther I went along listening to every CD/album basically to me, with the exception of a couple the crappier the tunes got. The older stuff was/is better.

So, I got bit with the Holy Wars vibe and was compelled to learn it.
Its one of those tunes I have on my CD in the car that I listen to and never grow tired of it. I like the tune and have fun play it even more.

As my JCF brother Spivonious recently said, it does take some practice to get it down. It was fun to me practicing it to get it right.

I'm weird though, but I like playing guitar.
Unlike others who have, I haven't yet experienced the whole dried up got no creativeness, I need a break, running out of ideas, tired of playing, burned out from playing guitar what can I do scenario that many experience. I've played for over 25 plus years (gigged in the 80's) and still playing and can't say there was ever a time when I thought stuff like that. To me and that's why I say I'm the weird one, but if you love something it never gets old or boring. But hey who am I, to each their own.
