Well i have never tried that or what i'm about to say, but in the description of active pickups they say they won't go crazy around flourescent lights, or computer screens, and I DO NOT know why normal ones do, so I figured it might be the same as the remote control, and is there ANY way you guys think, that this could be harmful?

It's not harmful, but I don't know where you're hearing about this description of active pickups not going crazy and picking up noise around computers and lights, because they absolutely do, like any other pickup. They're good with longer cables and a bunch of effects where you won't get any high end signal loss like you would with passives.
