      Been using them for years.
Regular picks make me feel like I'm playing with a dinner plate in my hand.

Actually you should be asking if anyone doesn't use them

Man, I hate those things. Cleveland Metal John, and my son loves 'em. To me it's like ..well, I'm like King Kong with a big ding dong..and those are like tiny little..ummm..things.

+1. They seem to last a bit longer than black/red ones and the tone is a bit fuller with them.

I'm a fan of the red ones myself.

Jim Dunlop U.S.A 1.0mm [Big Stubby] sharp edge, you can get a really scratchy sound...If you like? I like!

I love the Jazz IIIs myself *black*, but I also use different picks for different styles, the Tortex *White* Wedge Picks, are great of speed picking, Jazz III great for everything except it is a little harder to get the tone for speedpicking. Tortex Yellow for a little heavier sound playing slayer type stuff but not wanting to hit the string too vibrate more and even the Tortex purple are great for thicker guage strings.... Using all 4 different picks is what works for me!

                    Cheers,

I use to be a religious user of Jazz III picks, I wouldn't and couldn't use any other pick. I switched because they make everything monotoned to me and it is hard to get a lot of emphasis and articulation on them. The rhythm doesn't sound chunky and heavy as fuck but they are good for straight lead lines, I suppose.

I liked them because I use to choke the fuck out of the pick, now I just use the 1.5 mm Tortex "Sharps".. They slay.

                          Picks

I looked for them at the guitar shop today and they only had the little red one. I personnally like Pick Boy pos-a-grip, pretty much hard to find. I have a small stash. I order them on ebay, noone around here has them in the stores. They just have an edge not sharp well countoured, and nice flex-feel, and don't slip as much for me. Hope my secret does'nt get out of the bag ...

I find you can get the lowest possible action and max speed if the pick is doing all the work. With floppy picks you're working the various nuances with your attack strength, but with the reds, all that's in your fretting hand.

Granted it means that if you want a high-output pickup you have to get a high-output pickup, you can't bash the strings to make a medium pickup overload, but different strokes.

They're better than sliced bread and sliced bread is apparently the greatest thing ever.

I've used them for 2 years and I can't go back to regular picks. I've tried every Dunlop pick and I like them and the nylons the best. The Sharps bother me and none of the others stick out as anything more than regular picks.
