So, since I've been promoted to 3rd shift lead scapegoat ~ I've not been playing too much, not to much at all. Truth be told, I've only picked up the guitar 1 time since the nefarious actions of my employer. I had a great time too drunk to play(I had a babysitter on rare occasion)so I mostly drummed badly. But it was fun, the kind of shit you miss.
Fast forward to today;
I got off of work early, took the kids to school and decided to play the motherfuckin' guitar(loudly). As it had been a few days, I started with a little grinding in E. Witch quickly led into a target pitch exercise(also in E).

-x-x-x--x- -x- -x
-x-x-x--x- -x- -x
kind of similliar(it's a pain in the ass to ascii).
Then as I was continueing to target pitch;
-x-x-x--x----x--x--x--x--x-x--x--x------x
-21-x-21-21-x--x--21-x--x-x--x--x------x
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x--x--x--x--x-x--x--x------x
-x-18-x-19-x-18-x-x-18\17-17\15-14~~~
-x-x-x-x----x-x--x-x--x--x-x--x--x------x
-x-x-x-x----x-x--x-x--x--x-x--x--x------x
Or something reasonably simmilliar, with variations and partial octaves.
Anyways the point of this thread is;
Sometimes if you leave the guitar alone for a bit, when you pick it back up it can be very enjoyable!
Cheers
