My only Jackson. The neck plate has the number 4978. At the time, I had no idea what I was buying except the kind of guitar I saw my fav guitarists playing in the 1980's. I was 21 when I bought this at GC in San Diego, CA. I was in the military at the time and not making much money. It took me two or three months to pay this off. It was love at first sight. The purple black bengal drew me in and the reverse pointy made me smile. I tested this out on a Marshall mini stack, no pedals, just the amp. The sound that came from the amp made me shudder with joy. The feel and the power were amazing. To this day I have never found its equal.
